Is HOMEi really free?
Yes. Bill splitting, chore rotas, calendars, lists and the landlord-connected features are all free to download and use.
Who is HOMEi for?
Anyone renting in the UK. It started with student houses and now runs shared houses, family homes and solo rentals just the same. You don't need housemates to get value from it.
Do all my housemates need to download it?
The shared features work best when everyone's in. Create your home in the app, share one code, and everyone joins in seconds. Your personal chores, lists and calendar work regardless.
Which phones does it work on?
iOS and Android. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.
WITH YOUR LANDLORD
Does my landlord need to use HOMEi PM?
No. Everything except the landlord-connected tools works without them. If they do use HOMEi PM, you also get maintenance reporting, digital inspections and your tenancy documents in the app. See how the connection works.
How do digital inspections work?
When your landlord requests one, the app gives you a guided photo checklist to complete on your own schedule. Your landlord gets a condition report without anyone needing to visit.
Can I get my landlord on board?
Yes, share HOMEi PM with them from the app or point them at homei.org.uk. It saves them money and keeps their paperwork compliant, so most are glad to hear about it.
MONEY & DATA
Does HOMEi move money between us?
HOMEi tracks who owes what and notifies everyone of their share. You settle up however you normally pay each other, and mark it as paid.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is encrypted, we're GDPR compliant, and we never sell it or share it with third parties. Read the Privacy Policy for full details.
What if my house already uses other apps?
Most houses run on a group chat, a notes app and a money app nobody checks. HOMEi replaces the juggling with one place, so nothing falls through the cracks.
